In partnership with Hands Across the Water, we are inviting our guests to turn their tropical getaway into a moment of purposeful giving.
What is the Baan Than Namchai Foundation?
Located in the Phang Nga Province of Thailand, Baan Than Namchai was established to provide a safe haven, education, and a future for children in need. By providing a nurturing environment, the foundation ensures that children aged 1–10 and beyond have the resources they need to thrive, learn, and grow into confident adults.
How You Can Help: The #MarascaCare Donation Drive
If you are visiting Koh Samui between March 1st and April 30th, 2026, we invite you to pack a little extra "kindness" in your suitcase. We are collecting essential items to support the children’s development and daily well-being.
Items We Are Collecting:
We are focusing on two main categories to ensure the children have what they need to succeed:
1. Learning Resources (Ages 1–10):
- Thai & English picture books and easy readers.
- Activity books (Kindergarten to Lower Secondary levels).
- Art supplies to spark creativity.
2. Daily Essentials:
- Pasteurized milk (plain flavor).
- Disposable diapers.
- Hygiene products: Soap, toothpaste, and shampoo.
- Laundry detergent.
Participating is Easy
Guests staying at Marasca Samui can simply drop off their contributions at the Pantry Lobby donation box. Whether it is a single book or a pack of art supplies, every contribution makes a tangible difference in a child’s daily life.
Key Dates:
- Donation Period: 1 March – 30 April 2026
- Delivery: All items will be personally delivered to the foundation in Phang Nga in May 2026.
