Spreading Love Beyond Our Grounds
At Marasca Khao Yai, being pet-friendly is more than a promise—it’s a passion. With dedicated playgrounds and curated menus for our furry guests, we’ve long embraced pets as part of the family. But this month, we extended that care beyond our resort.
In collaboration with our guests and the Marascan team, we hosted a Pet Food Donation Drive to support the Nakhon Chaiburin Shelter in Pak Chong—home to over 1,500 homeless dogs in urgent need of proper nutrition and care.
The Shelter’s Ongoing Need
Located just a short drive from Khao Yai, Nakhon Chaiburin Shelter provides refuge to abandoned and stray dogs. Despite their dedication, the shelter faces serious shortages of quality food and essential supplies. Many of the dogs receive inadequate nutrition, affecting their health, strength, and chances of recovery.
Recognizing this critical need, we rallied our community to help.
A Team and Guest-Led Effort
What makes this initiative especially meaningful is the spirit behind it. This wasn’t just a company-driven act—it was a community collaboration. Both our in-house team and our guests contributed thoughtfully selected donations, including: High-quality dog food, treats and vitamins, comfort items for dogs, and useful utilities for the staff.
The sense of shared compassion was palpable, and every contribution-big—big or small—was received with deep gratitude.
On the day, our team delivered the donations directly to the shelter. We spent time with the dogs, learned about the challenges shelter staff face, and saw firsthand how meaningful community support can be.
A Reflection of Our Values
At Marasca Khao Yai, we create spaces for guests and pets to feel at ease, play freely, and rest deeply. This donation drive reflects that same ethos—caring deeply, acting thoughtfully, and staying connected to our local community.
We’re proud to support animal welfare in our region and will continue to seek ways to give back where it matters most.
